Under the general banner of Century Model Hobby Shop, two relatively new companies showed some nice new figures. DaJoint made a splash with their ZMDC (Zero Metal Defense Capsule) twelve-inch figures. Based on DaJoint's self-published comic book "Jiu Gang", the ZMDC figures are the aggressive paramilitary force of post-apocalyptic Hong Kong Island waging war against Kowloon. Da Joint also featured the sexy and detailed "Moon Girl" figure, another character from "Jiu Gang" comic. "Moon Girl" will be available this Spring.
Farta's "Firedrake High SchoolSoul" series take a page from Medicom's Stylish Collection book. These detailed 12-inch figures featured a Japanese manga aesthetic, and depict a series of juvenile delinquent martial artists, motorcycle racers and anime babes, |
