If ever a creative toy design company deserved international acclaim, it's now with Brothersfree. With their cohesive design sense and exquisitely detailed 12-inch figures, Brothersfree is one of the most respected toy companies in the Hong Kong art toy community. This Toycon, the Brothersfree booth showcased their new projects, crossovers and upcoming figure plans. The Brothers have definitely branched out. Quite a few new figures were on display, including three 12-inch additions to the BrotherWorker universe, a new mini figure series, promotional crossovers and a rotocast version of the first Brothersjoker figure to go into production.

* Brothersworker "Baby": the latest Brothersworker figure, Baby is a part-time bartender and construction worker, who's (as the promo poster says) "a popular figure among the construction site crews, due to her vigorous and cute-looking face."

* Brothersworker "Storm" and "Must": long-anticipated brotherworker 12-inch figure set, featuring two rescue workers from the World Trade Center attack. The were also on display over at the Hot Toys booth.

* Minibrothers: the first foray into mini figures, Minibrothers are scaled down versions of 8 characters from the brotherworker series including Smart, Seven, Bomb, Popeye and Baby.

* Pringles Band: This rotocast crossover project was produced as part of a promotional campaign for Pringles in Taiwan.

* "Touch" and "Mini": Another promotional crossover project, this time with Nikon HK. The figures have the same attention to detail as all Brothersfree products, right down to the tailoring, the textured hair and the chin beard.

* Brothersjoker "BJ Hammer": The first Brothersjoker character to go into production (the series was announced as 12-inch prototypes at April 2002's show), BJ Hammer features a twisted design and a big, boxing-gloved right hand. Available in April 2003.
